Privacy Policy
We take your privacy seriously.
Mobio Networks, Inc. ("Mobio") knows that you care about how your personal information is used and shared, and we take your privacy seriously. Please read the following to learn more about our privacy policy. This Privacy Policy applies to all of the mobile applications, products, services and websites offered by Mobio or its subsidiaries or affiliated companies (collectively, Mobio’s “services"). By accessing any Mobio services, you are accepting the practices outlined in this Privacy Policy.
What Does This Privacy Policy Cover?
This Privacy Policy covers Mobio’s treatment of personal information that Mobio gathers when you use any Mobio services. This policy does not apply to the practices of third parties that Mobio does not own or control, or to individuals that Mobio does not employ or manage.
What Personal Information About Customers Does Mobio Collect?
Our primary goal in collecting personal information is to provide you with a friendly, customized, and efficient experience. We collect the following types of information from our customers:
Information You Provide to Us:
We receive and store any information you enter through any of our services or provide to us in any other way. In order for you to use our services, you must complete a registration form. We require your contact information (such as name, home address, mobile phone number and email address). We may also request a password, demographic information and unique identifiers in order to provide you with a more personalized service. For certain services, we also request credit card or other payment account information which is maintained in encrypted form on secure servers. We may combine the information you submit under your account with information from other Mobio services or third parties.
You can choose not to provide us with certain information, but then you may not be able to take advantage of many of our services or special features of our services. The personal information you provide is used for such purposes as optimizing your user experience across Mobio’s services, responding to your requests for certain products and services, customizing the advertising and content you see, and communicating with you about specials and new products.
Automatic Information
- Usage Information. We receive and store certain types of information whenever you use any of our services. Mobio automatically receives and records certain “traffic data” on our server logs, which may include the dates and times you used our services, your response to messages that we send to you, your IP address, Mobio cookie information, the aspects of each service that you used or accessed, and your communications and interactions with other users of our services.
- Mobile Device Identification Information. When you connect to our services on your mobile device, if your service provider uniquely identifies the device, Mobio will receive this information. Mobio may use your unique mobile device identification information to offer you extended services and/or functionality. Our services may require our collection from you of the phone number for your device. We may associate that phone number to the mobile device identification information and to other information we have collected from and about you; however, we will not use that number to call you for telemarketing.
- Mobile Device Physical Location. Some mobile phone service providers are required to operate a system that will pinpoint the physical location of devices that use their service. Depending on the provider, Mobio may automatically receive this information.
We may combine this non-personal information with your personal information. This type of data enables us to provide you with a more personalized user experience and determine how often customers use parts of our services, so we can make our services appealing to as many customers as possible. In addition, we may provide statistical information to our partners about how our customers, collectively, use our services. We share this type of statistical data so that our partners also understand how often people use their areas and our services, so that they, too, may provide you with an optimal experience.
E-mail Communications:
We may receive a confirmation when you open an e-mail from Mobio if your computer supports this type of program, in order to help us make e-mails more interesting and helpful. We may also send out emails with news or promotions. If you are a registered user of Mobio’s services and do not want to receive e-mail from us, please adjust your customer communications preferences on our website.
Information From Other Sources:
For purposes such as improving personalization of our service, we may receive information about you from other sources, such as some of our partners, and add it to our account information. Personal information that you provide to those sites may be sent to Mobio, and we will use it in accordance with this Privacy Policy. Our partners may have privacy practices that are different from ours (and which we do not control), and we encourage you to read their privacy policies.
Processing of Information:
Mobio processes personal information on our servers in the United States of America and in other countries. In some cases, we process personal information on a server outside your own country. We may process personal information to provide our own services. In some cases, we may process personal information on behalf of and according to the instructions of a third party, such as our partners.

Will Mobio Share Any of the Information it Receives?
Information about our customers is an integral part of our business. We neither rent nor sell your personal information to anyone. We may share with third parties certain pieces of aggregated, non-personal information, such as the number of users who used one of our services or a particular feature of a service. Such information does not identify you individually. We share your personal information only with the entities that are controlled by or control Mobio and as described below.
Affiliated Business We Do Not Control:
We are affiliated with a variety of businesses and work closely with them. In certain situations, these businesses operate within the Mobio service or sell items to you within the Mobio service. In other situations, Mobio provides services, or sells products jointly with affiliated businesses. You can easily recognize when an affiliated business is associated with your transaction, and we will share customer information that is related to such transactions with that affiliated business. We do not have access to or control over the information practices of these third-party businesses, and their information practices are not covered by this Privacy Policy. Please contact them directly for more information about their privacy practices.

We employ other companies and people to perform tasks on our behalf and need to share your information with them to provide products or services to you. Examples may include fulfilling orders, delivering packages, sending postal mail and e-mail, removing repetitive information from customer lists, analyzing data, providing marketing assistance, processing credit card payments, and providing customer service. We may also provide your personal information to agents who will use it to verify aggregate usage data that we provide to our partners.
Promotional Offers:
We may send offers to certain customers on behalf of other businesses. However, when we do so, we do not give the other business your name and address. If you are a registered user of Mobio’s services and do not wish to receive these offers, please adjust your customer communications preferences on our website.
Business Transfers:
In some cases, we may choose to buy or sell assets or businesses. In these types of transactions, customer information is typically one of the business assets that are transferred. Moreover, if Mobio, or substantially all of its assets, were acquired, customer information would be one of the assets that are transferred.
Protection of Mobio and Others:
We may release personal information when we believe in good faith that release is necessary to: comply with that law; enforce or apply our conditions of use and other agreements; or protect the rights, property, or safety of Mobio, our employees, our users, or others. This includes exchanging information with other companies and organizations for fraud protection and credit risk reduction.
With Your Consent:
Except as set forth above, you will be notified when your personal information may be shared with third parties.
