How to personalize your account
We recommend that ALL CUSTOMERS personalize their mobile software for a better experience
Step 1 - Locate your Mobio ID
Locate the GetMobio icon on your mobile phone, select it, and fire up the GetMobio software. Go to the option menu and look for your temporary username. This temporary username has been assigned to you so you can start using the GetMobio software after you downloaded it. Make a note of your temporary username ... you’ll need it in Step 2.
Step 2 - Personalize your Account
Go to this page on our website:
http://www.getmobio.com/personalize
Enter the temporary username we provided in the place indicated. Choose a username and password that’s to your liking. The username you picked will remain associated with your account permanently.

Why personalize my account?
You can download GetMobio mobile software and starting using it immediately, without personalizing your account. But to really get the most out of our software we recommend that you personalize your account. Personalization is the only way you can pick your own username. It also is the best way to establish your own account here at getmobio.com. With an account at getmobio.com you can do the following:
- Save time ... by setting location that work across all your Mobio applications - e.g. “home”, “work”, “gym”, “school”.

Status
How can I tell whether I’ve personalized my account already or not
Check under the Option menu and select the menu item marked “Mobio ID”. If the screen references the username you selected, you’ve personalized your account. If the screen references a Mobio ID that is a bunch of seemingly random letters and numbers, you have yet to personalize your account.
